Doha, October 20 (QNA) - Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) reported a 1.58% decline in net profit for the first nine months of 2026, with earnings falling to QR1.29bn ($354m) from QR1.31bn in the same period last year.

Financial results published on the Qatar Stock Exchange on Tuesday showed earnings per share fell to QR0.23 for the period ending Sep. 30, 2026, compared with QR0.24 a year earlier.
Nakilat chief executive Abdullah Al Sulaiti said the company continued to support Qatar's energy transportation sector despite ongoing regional conditions and their impact on marine services.

  • These services include ship repair, shipping agency operations and marine towing, according to a company statement.

Al Sulaiti said to Qatar News Agency that Nakilat had introduced targeted cost-control measures while maintaining the stability of its core activities and ensuring high levels of operational reliability across its fleet; stating "we reaffirm our firm commitment to serving our customers under all circumstances," (QNA)
